Fathomable Story Time - Science and Jet Propulsion!

 We had such a fun Fathomable story time this week!  I read "Ada Twist, Scientist" another story by Andrea Beady.  We talked about how scientists ask questions and create hypotheses to find answers so that we can use the answers for so many important things! 

We then became little scientists ourselves, and asked the question "what is jet propulsion, and how does it work?" I used the example of a Giant Pacific Octopus, a species native to the PNW, and led the kids in an experiment with balloons.
